Plans for Grandview Yard call for an investment of over $500M in private development plus $160M in infrastructure. The master plan for Grandview Yard includes 1.5 – 2 million square feet of commercial space with the potential to create over 5,000 new permanent jobs for the City of Grandview Heights.
The first phase, which opened in fall 2010, includes a 92,000 square foot Class A office building, a 42,000 sq. ft. Urban Active, a 83,000 sq. ft. Hyatt Place Columbus/OSU (126-room hotel), and a 500 space parking garage.
Phase Two is currently in development with The Apartments at Grandview Yard - three 4-story U-shaped urban-style apartment buildings featuring one and two-bedroom garden and townhouse units. The leasing team is currently taking reservations with first occupancy in November. In addition, development is underway for the 92,000-square-foot grocery store for Giant Eagle and parking for the grocery chain which will fill about 12 of 15 acres along West Third Avenue and Edgehill Road at the north end of the project.
