NATIONWIDE REALTY INVESTORS ANNOUNCES 154 UNIT APARTMENT PROJECT AT GRANDVIEW YARD
Site preparation is already underway for the community’s three buildings

GRANVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio, July 20, 2011 — Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Realty Investors announced today its plans to build a new apartment community just north of the Hyatt Place hotel at Grandview Yard. Nationwide Realty Investors President and COO
Brian J. Ellis made the announcement.

“Grandview Heights is known for its outstanding schools, central location, walkability and strong sense of community,” said Ellis. “There is significant demand for quality, for-rent residential housing in the market, yet very few options. This project will address that need, and add a whole new type of energy to Grandview Yard.”

The Apartments at Grandview Yard will be constructed on 3.77 acres of land to be improved with three, four-story U-shaped buildings. The luxury, urban-style apartments will be a mix of one and two-bedroom garden and townhouse units. Private balconies or patios, choice of tile or wood flooring, walk-in closets, and washer/dryer hook-ups are standard in each of the apartments, and all residents will have access to the apartment community’s swimming pool, hot-tub, and grilling area. The apartments are adjacent to ample public parking, and many units will have attached garages. There are also secured detatched garages and exclusive carports available.
Construction is expected to begin this fall, and reservations will be taken starting spring 2012. The first units are expected to be available for occupancy by fall 2012.

The Apartments at Grandview Yard will join already opened Hyatt Place Columbus/OSU hotel, Urban Active Fitness, Buckeye Hall of Fame Grill, Jason’s Deli, Massage Envy, Schindler Dentistry and several office tenants at the project.

Located less than two miles from The Ohio State University and the Arena District on the former Big Bear warehouse site, and encompassing more than 80 acres, Grandview Yard will eventually include 1.5 – 2 million-square-feet of commercial space, including a significant specialty and anchor retail component, restaurants, office, and more than 600 residential units.
