PANERA BREAD COMING TO GRANDVIEW YARD

Restaurant Will Complete Grandview Yard Development North of Third Ave.

Columbus-based Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) announced today that Panera Bread has signed a lease to open a new restaurant at Grandview Yard on the north side of Third Avenue. NRI President Brian J. Ellis made the announcement.

“We are looking forward to having Panera join the growing list of dining options at Grandview Yard,” said Ellis. “With this addition, the Grandview Yard area north of Third Avenue is now fully defined.” Panera Bread will join Giant Eagle, a GetGo Gas Station, and Wright Patterson Credit Union who have all announced plans to open Summer 2014. Other recently announced Yard tenants include Hofbrauhaus and Ohio Heath Urgent Care.

Construction on the 3,850 square foot Grandview Yard Panera will begin in the coming months.  The restaurant will reflect Panera’s latest store concept and include a drive thru and an outdoor patio.  “We are thrilled at the growth we’ve been experiencing in the Columbus market,” said Liz Fiorino, Regional Marketing Director for Covelli Enterprises. “We plan to continue to grow and find ways to better serve our customers. We believe the move to Grandview Yard will allow us to better serve our loyal Grandview customers, and we look forward to continuing to be a part of this wonderful community.”

Panera plans to close their Grandview Avenue store when their new location opens at Grandview Yard. A new Cameron Mitchell Restaurant, LLC concept will occupy the former Panera space on Grandview Avenue. “As part of our Columbus, Ohio expansion, we are excited to announce our plans to open a new restaurant concept in the heart of Grandview in 2015,” said David Miller, Executive Vice-President & Operating Partner, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, LLC. “We believe this new concept will enhance the already vibrant Grandview dining culture and will provide future growth opportunities for our Associates in this dynamic neighborhood.”
