Hofbrauhaus won’t be open in time for Oktoberfest– but it will give us a reason to celebrate in October.
The Grandview Yard restaurant and brewery expects to open by Oct. 21. It took a key step toward that opening date Monday when it took delivery of its brewhouse, the component allowing it to begin on-site brewing in time for its opening.
The historic beer hall and brewery brand is franchised from Munich-based Hofbrauhaus, which has been making beer since 1589. The Grandview Yard Hofbrauhaus is owned by Cincinnati-based Nick Ellison and Eric Haas, as well as Brewmaster Robert Makein (full title – State Certified Brewing & Beverage Technologist & Brew Master).
