NATIONWIDE REALTY INVESTORS TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION ON THE NEXT PHASE OF APARTMENTS AT GRANDVIEW YARD

The Brooks building will include mix of 166 one and two bedroom units

Nationwide Realty Investors announced today that construction will begin this month on the third phase of Apartments at Grandview Yard. The new Brooks building will be a 4-story, 166-unit residential building. NRI President and COO Brian J. Ellis made the announcement.

In response to market demand for additional for-lease residential at Grandview Yard, the new building will feature one and two bedroom flats ranging in size from 722 to 1,219 square feet. The Brooks building will be located on Baldwin Avenue between Yard Street and Rail Street, and will include first floor walk-up units and a 128-space underground parking structure.

“We are thrilled to announce the third phase of Apartments at Grandview Yard,” said Ellis. “The demand for our for-lease product at Grandview Yard has been high, and our first two phases are fully leased.” The initial phases of Apartments at Grandview Yard include 274 units within the Baldwin, Pullman, Porter, and Keystone buildings.

Nationwide Realty Investors is set to begin construction on the apartments this month, with an anticipated completion in summer 2016.

Also under construction is the 500,000 square foot Nationwide campus featuring three interconnected office buildings with adjacent parking structures. The first 320,000 square foot building will open in 2016. The company also has begun construction on a 135-room Courtyard by Marriott and The Grand Event Center, a 13,000 square foot event and conference center, both of which are scheduled to open in the summer of 2016.
