Grandview Yard residents getting a clubhouse with a pool and fitness center

Grandview Yard’s developer plans to pump up the amenity package for its apartment tenants as it continues to build more rental units.

Nationwide Realty Investors Ltd. is planning a 13,000-square-foot clubhouse to help keep the 275 or so existing apartments fully occupied and make the 166 apartments under construction even more attractive.

It will have a 2,600-square-foot fitness center, 2,000-square-foot swimming pool and spa, and a 1,600-square-foot community room.

“The whole facility is getting built as an amenity for all … residents,” spokeswoman Tina Guegold told me.

The Yard Club will be built on just over 2 acres adjacent to the Brooks section of the scattered-site rental housing development, just a short walk north of Hofbrauhaus.

NRI expects the clubhouse to open next summer close to the delivery schedule of the first Brooks units. It expects to file for building permits Monday.

A 2,000-square-foot corner of the clubhouse will serve as a permanent leasing office, which is currently in the commercial section of the Keystone complex.

“It’ll be great space for our apartment residents,” Guegold told me. “We are exploring the possibility of making this available for owners of the (condos), too.”

Guegold said the first section of apartments has a small pool for the community’s use.

The developer declined to divulge financial details of the project ahead of filing for the permits.

M&A Architects designed the facility.
