4 Places You Must Visit in Grandview Yard

Over the last few weeks, I’ve spent a lot of time exploring Grandview Yard and all of the new amazing businesses that are opening in that area so that I could tell you guys all about them.  Research for my job is always fun 🙂

Winans Chocolates + Coffee

You guys!!! Winans is seriously my dream cafe.  They have Every. Single. Thing. I could ever possibly want in a cafe.  Coffee. Wine. Tea. Chocolate. Gummy Bears. When I first walked in I was greeted by two very friendly staff members who answered all of my questions (and I asked a lot).  I like to know as much as possible about everything I can, so I always have questions. They then asked me a few questions about what I like and what I don’t like and then sent me over to look at the bagged candies while they made drinks to surprise.  When I came back they had a white wine flight (with chocolates to go with it), a hibiscus tea, and an iced vanilla latte. I was in heaven.

Winans is the perfect spot to grab a drink and sweet treat after date night or girls night, pick up a gift on your way to a dinner party, or just go spend some time on yourself! Treat yourself, mama. You deserve it.

My Salon Suite

You know when you meet someone and just love them? That’s exactly how I felt when I met the owner of My Salon Suite, Jennifer Skrobarcek.  She recently brought My Salon Suite to Grandview Yard and I am so happy she did because I also met the amazing Mariah who has since become my go-to for all hair needs in my family. She did my hair on Mother’s Day and I loved her so much that I sent my husband to her and my daughter has an appointment this week to see her.  They also have professionals in massage therapy, skincare, nail care, and so much more. You can learn more about all of the services and see a list of members on their website.

Club Pilates

Being active and trying fun new workouts is something I love and because of that, I’ve always really wanted to try Pilates. Unfortunately, it was just one of those things on the to-do list that I never got around to.  I know many of you can relate to that. Last week I tried Club Pilates and I can happily say that Pilates is one of my new favorite workouts. I am so glad that my friend Lindsay from Find Where You Fit was able to join me for my first class which helped my nerves because she’s a pro. Plus we got to smile for the camera and be part of a fun #besties post on the Club Pilates Instagram page.

The best way for me to describe the pilates class – it’s flowy and slow while also keeping my mind busy.  Nothing personal against yoga but I’ve just never been able to get into it because it’s just sooooo slooooooow.  This particular pilates class was called flow and was a great introduction. It kept my mind thinking about all the moves and proper form while also allowing me to go slow and be in tune with my body.  Does any of that make sense? Feel free to message me on Instagram if you have any questions.

Grand Event Center

Mother’s Day brunch at The Grand Event Center was the best way to kick off the day with my family.  The space is beautiful and the food delicious. I think sometimes as parents we can get nervous taking our kids out because there are so many things that could go wrong – at the Grand Event Center, I felt so comfortable. The tables were large, the people were friendly, and the buffet was very kid friendly.   Definitely keep an eye on their Facebook page so you know when they do this again.

Thank you Nationwide Realty Group for sending me to explore Grandview Yard.  I so appreciate our partnership.
